ASSOSA, Benishangul-Gumuz – During a tree planting event in Assosa today, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed emphasized the importance of continuous planting in critical areas like the Abay River Basin to aid water conservation efforts. The region is celebrated for its rich natural resources and fertile lands, which play a pivotal role in the country’s environmental health.
