Piéla Security Forces Neutralize Four Terrorists, Capture One, and Recover Equipment

Piéla, Burkina Faso – In a coordinated operation in Piéla, located in the eastern region of Bogandé, security forces successfully neutralized four terrorists on Friday, capturing another and recovering various equipment. The operation was conducted by GUMI 11, in collaboration with the departmental police station and the local Volunteer for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the recovered material includes five motorcycles, an improvised explosive device, a Kalashnikov rifle, a radio, seven telephones, and a 20-liter can of gasoline.
