Leraba: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Loumana commune, Adama Sawadogo, presided over the official raising of the national flag at the Loumana departmental high school. He urged the students to demonstrate patriotism and to work diligently, with discipline and rigor.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was part of the commemoration of the Days of Civic Engagement and Participation (JEPPC), attended by local military, paramilitary, customary, and religious authorities. The actors of the departmental high school organized the solemn raising of the national colors within the premises of the establishment, under the guidance of PDS Adama Sawadogo.
The PDS emphasized the importance of involving every citizen in the rebuilding of the homeland and consolidating patriotic commitment and civic participation among students, who are seen as the future leaders of the country. Adama Sawadogo also paid tribute to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) for their continuous efforts in the liberation of the homeland.
He reminded the students of the civic significance of raising the national colors, stressing that it "is not a simple ritual." PDS Sawadogo invited the students to embrace patriotism and to engage in their studies with diligence, discipline, and rigor.
