Ouagadougou: Staff from the Ministry of Economy and Finance participated in a blood collection session in Ouagadougou this Monday. The activity, which is part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), was organized by the association “SOS Sang”, with the technical support of the Regional Blood Transfusion Center (CRTS) of Ouagadougou.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place simultaneously within the Ministry of Economy and Finance and on the site of the Institute of Public Finance of Burkina (IFPB), formerly ENAREF. On this occasion, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Dr. Aboubakar Nacanabo, donated blood and invited his colleagues to do the same to save lives.
It is with the aim of consolidating the foundations of the Burkinabe nation, strengthening social cohesion, and promoting communal harmony that the Burkinabe government established the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) by a decree dated April 3, 2024. The JEPPC 2025 is centered around the theme: “For order and discipline: I commit!”. The event unfolds in two phases, each lasting two weeks, from March 26 to April 9 for the first phase and from October 2 to 6 for the second phase.
