Passore: The New DPPN Announces Endogenous Innovations to Address Socio-Economic Realities

Passore: The High Commissioner of Passore Province, Daouda Sangare, officially installed the new Provincial Director of the National Police (DPPN) of Passore, Chief Superintendent Maouibadan Patrice Nebie, on Tuesday, April 16, 2026. During the ceremony, the new DPPN announced locally developed security innovations to address the socio-economic realities of the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the installation ceremony was held in the Yako town hall's reception hall and brought together administrative, customary and religious authorities, defense and security forces, as well as civil society organizations.

The Provincial Director of the National Police of Passore, Chief Commissioner of Police Maouibadan Patrice Nebie, expressed his desire to introduce endogenous security innovations adapted to the socio-economic realities of the province, while consolidating the achievements of his predecessor.

He also expressed his gratitude to the authorities for the trust placed in him and pledged his commitment to addressing the current security challenges in the province. Commissioner Nebie further called upon all local stakeholders to collaborate in order to successfully complete his mission.

The new DPPN emphasized anticipation, communication, professionalism and strengthening the territorial network as priority areas of its action.

On behalf of the association of directors and heads of departments in Passore, the Provincial Director in charge of Secondary Education in Passore, Mimtiri Oualbeogo, commended the outgoing director, Police Commissioner Domecilenyuru Pascal Ghislain Some, for his work. He also congratulated the new Provincial Director of the National Police (DPPN), while reaffirming the commitment of the province's constituted bodies to support him in fulfilling his duties.

High Commissioner Daouda Sangare, for his part, acknowledged the efforts made by the outgoing Director of the National Police (DPPN) and wished his successor every success.

As a reminder, Chief Superintendent of Police Maouibadan Patrice Nebie was appointed on Thursday, April 2, 2026, as the new DPPN of Passore.
