Passor©: The written tests for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the sixth-grade entrance exam for the 2026 session officially commenced on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Passor© province, involving over 10,000 candidates.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Secretary General of the province, Saidou Ou©draogo, initiated the start of the exams at the Basic Education Centre (CEB) of Yako II, specifically at the S©gu©din Public Primary School composition center, where jury no. 2 is stationed. This center accommodates 234 candidates, comprising 95 boys and 139 girls, across five composition rooms.
At 7:20 a.m., the sealed envelopes containing the exam papers were opened in the presence of the candidates, signifying the beginning of the tests in a calm environment. For this 2026 session, Passor© province has documented 10,584 candidates, including 6,294 girls and 4,290 boys, dispersed across 64 examination centers, 12 Basic Education Districts (CEB), and 15 juries.
The ceremony marking the launch of the CEP written tests saw attendance from the Secretary General of the province, the provincial director of Basic Education of Passor©, Mamoudou Kiogo, the president of the special delegation of Yako, Boukar© Zomodo, officials from the Defense and Security Forces, and other key figures in the provincial education system.
SGP Saidou Ou©draogo, in his address to the candidates, acknowledged the dedication exhibited by teachers, supervisors, and parents throughout the academic year. He encouraged the candidates to undertake the exams with calmness and confidence, while cautioning them against any malpractice.
