ADDIS ABABA: The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Investment Commission to produce export-standard sports apparel in Ethiopia.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the MoU was signed by Abdul Ghafoor, President of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Hanna Arayaselassie, Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission. The signing ceremony was attended by Ethiopia's Ambassador to Pakistan and Pakistan's Ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union. A Pakistani business delegation of more than 80 investors is currently in Ethiopia to explore investment opportunities, aiming to enhance bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries.
