P´ Students Encouraged to Utilize Skills for Community Benefit

Nahouri: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of P´, Ilassa Dianda, presided over the closing ceremony of a soap and k´k´ donda cloth making training session for students from about fifteen schools in the town, held this Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the primary school in Sector No. 1 of P´. He encouraged the trainees to apply their newly acquired knowledge for the benefit of the community.

According to Burkina Information Agency, for three days, students from several primary schools in the commune of P´ took advantage of their second-term break to learn soap making and the dyeing of the "K´k´ Donda" fabric, an activity organized by the Acad©mie des Stars collective. The training aimed to promote youth empowerment from a young age.

Speaking on behalf of the students, Acha Guigma, a fourth-grade student, stated that this training was a real opportunity for them to prepare for the future. She pledged, along with all the students, to use the acquired knowledge to benefit the community.

The sponsor of this year's event, El Hadj Adama Hadara, commended the children's courage and the relevance of the chosen modules, and expressed his willingness to support such initiatives. The collective's president, Th©opace Astar Bayingana, noted the students' curiosity and mastery of the skills taught.

Ilassa Dianda highlighted the importance of practical learning in schools, emphasizing the development of skills that create added value. The ceremony concluded in a festive atmosphere marked by an exhibition of the finished products, showcasing the skills acquired by the students.
