Over 70 Terrorists Killed in Pakistan Airstrikes on Afghan Border Areas

Islamabad: Over 70 terrorists were killed after Pakistan conducted aerial strikes against a faction of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the border areas of Afghanistan, security sources said. The precision strikes targeted terrorists in the North Waziristan and South Waziristan districts of Pakistan based on confirmed intelligence.

According to Namibia Press Agency, more than 70 terrorists, including their leadership, were killed during the strikes. Despite an existing ceasefire, TTP terrorists launched multiple attacks in several areas of Pakistan, prompting the aerial response.

On Friday, the terrorists executed a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device attack in North Waziristan, resulting in the death of one soldier and injuries to several others. In the last 48 hours, terrorists have launched multiple attacks on Pakistan from Afghanistan or infiltrated into Pakistan to carry out terror attacks, said security sources.
