Addis Ababa: Over 36 Foreign Affairs Ministers from African countries have arrived in Addis Ababa to participate in the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, which is scheduled to take place from February 12 to 13, 2025.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the session will focus on reviewing the draft agenda, draft decisions, and declarations, making appropriate recommendations for the Heads of State and Government. These recommendations are to be considered during the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly, scheduled for February 15 and 16, 2025.
Additionally, the ministers and representatives will engage in the election and appointment of six Commissioners of the AU Commission, along with senior officials of other AU organs.
