Over 3,000 Candidates Begin BEPC and CAP Exams in Tuy

Noumbiel: The Secretary General of the Tuy Province, Dieudonn© Zeida, representing the High Commissioner, officially launched the written tests for the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) and the Certificat d'aptitude professionnelle (CAP), 2026 session, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Hound©. In total, 3,022 candidates are taking part in the exams across the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, 2,998 candidates are registered for the BEPC, comprising 1,672 girls and 1,326 boys, while 24 candidates are set to take the CAP exams. The official launch of the exams was held at the General Education College (CEG) of Karaba, a secondary center attached to jury no. 3 of Hound©.

The Secretary General's visit was accompanied by key figures, including the President of the Special Communal Delegation of Hound©, Souleymane Dianda, the Provincial Director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training of Tuy, Seydou Traor©, along with customary and security authorities. Prior to the commencement of the exams, officials visited exam rooms to motivate candidates. The provincial secretary general advised them to maintain calmness and confidence while emphasizing the importance of honesty to uphold the integrity of their diplomas.

In addition, a delegation from the provincial directorate conducted a visit to the College of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CETFP) in sector 3 of Hound© to observe the CAP exams' initiation.
