Cabinda: The local administrator of Cabinda, Ernesto Barros Andr©, announced that last year, the municipality of Tando-Zinze in the province of Cabinda produced at least 105,000 tons of agricultural products.
According to Angola Press News Agency, Andr© noted that this production marked an increase of 10,000 tons compared to 2024. Among the most harvested products were cassava, bananas, pineapples, corn, peanuts, cowpeas, cocoa, and coffee. The surplus of these agricultural products was sold to neighboring countries, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Congo.
Andr© emphasized ongoing support for family farmers and agricultural cooperatives, highlighting the distribution of inputs to enhance production. The last agricultural campaign in the municipality involved 5,250 peasant families.
Tando-Zinze encompasses 7,224 hectares of arable land within its 1,160 square kilometer land area.
