DANO — A total of 101 individuals, including 74 parents of underprivileged children, were equipped with skills in income-generating activities (IGA) during a training session organized by the evangelical churches of the Dano cluster in partnership with the NGO Compassion. The training took place on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Central Church of the Assemblies of God in Dano.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Pastor Nicodemus Kam, the goal of the training is to support parents of destitute children to help them break free from poverty. The initiative aligns with the vision of Compassion to uplift children from impoverished conditions by empowering their families with sustainable livelihoods.
