Tsumkwe: Outgoing Tsumkwe Constituency Councillor, Johannes Hausiku, has implored the youth to approach their councillors when they need support. 'The only way you can bring change is when you come out and be an outspoken person,' he said.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Hausiku emphasized the importance of voting while speaking at the Tsumkwe Secondary School polling station on Wednesday. He highlighted that voting is crucial because it determines which leaders will take accountability and deliver services to the community. "Go and cast your vote so that you vote for the right person to deliver services to the community," he urged.
Hausiku also cautioned those who choose not to vote, warning that they are doing themselves a disservice. The Regional Councils and Local Authorities Elections are set to run until 21h00, after which vote counting will commence.
