Oudalan/CEP 202: 1,146 Candidates Begin Crucial School Exams

Oudalan: The Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) and entrance exams for 6th grade commenced in Oudalan province. A total of 1,146 candidates, comprising 493 girls and 653 boys, are participating in these exams across the three Basic Education Districts (CEB). The High Commissioner of the province, Valentin Mar©, officially launched the exams.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Ouss©ini Moukaylou Maga, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Oudalan, confirmed the total number of candidates, which includes 493 girls and 653 boys. The candidates are distributed across three examination boards and six centers located in Markoye, Gorom-Gorom I, and Gorom-Gorom II.

The examination process began at 6:30 a.m. with supervisors organizing the seating arrangements before opening the exam envelopes. The official launch ceremony took place at the Gorom-Gorom I Basic Education District, where the High Commissioner, Valentin Mar©, opened the first envelope, signaling the start of the exams with a writing section.

Valentin Mar© encouraged candidates to maintain concentration and composure, advising them to read questions thoroughly and think critically to achieve satisfactory results. He extended his best wishes for their success and commended the educational stakeholders, administrative authorities, and security forces for their role in facilitating a smooth examination process.

The launch event was attended by Ouss©ini Moukaylou Maga, municipal authorities, including Amadou Boureima Maga, the second vice-president of the Special Delegation of Gorom-Gorom, and military and paramilitary representatives.
