According to Burkina Information Agency, the Association of Butchers of Ouargaye organized a General Assembly to present its wishes to the various stakeholders of the commune. This General Assembly was attended by the communal and traditional authorities.

The representative of the president of the association, Abel Goumbri, expressed his gratitude to the guests for their presence at this AGM. He indicated that despite the difficult security situation, the butchers of Ouargaye were able to mobilize at least a sum of 3,000,000 f as revenue for the benefit of the municipal budget in 2024.

This work is to be encouraged, which leads them to plead before the municipal authorities for more equipment for maintaining the Ouargaye slaughterhouse. The butchers also welcomed the fact that none of their members has been involved in a story of theft or concealment of animals in a context where the loss and theft of animals are prevalent.

They reiterated their collaboration with other stakeholders for social cohesion and living together. The renovation of the slaughterhouse and the recruitment of security guards are also grievances submitted to the municipal authorities.

The first vice-president of the Nazaire Zombr© Association congratulated the butchers for the work done and promised to transmit the various grievances to the president of the special delegation, while asking them to make more effort for this year 2025.
