In Ouahigouya, David Ayoro, the Secretary General of the Loroum province, officially installed the new provincial director of Environment, Isso Kindo, on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The ceremony was witnessed by service agents and heads of provincial services in the locality.

According to News Releases by Burkina Information News Agency, Mr. Kindo, a water and forest inspector, succeeds Sayouba Soré, who had been acting in this position since 2019. The installation occurs at a time when the Loroum province is grappling with a challenging security situation, leading to the relocation of technical services to Ouahigouya, the capital of the Northern region.
