ONANKALI — Justina Kakoto Haihambo, a 98-year-old long-standing resident of Ondjokwe village in the Oshikoto Region, passed away at her home on Tuesday morning.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo, the Namibian Police crime investigations coordinator for Oshikoto, confirmed that Haihambo died at her residence, known locally as the ‘House of God.’ The death occurred around 09h00 after a period of ill health. Haihambo, who was also a self-proclaimed prophetess, is reported to have avoided hospital visits despite her ailments.

Following her passing, authorities transported Haihambo’s body to the Omuthiya police mortuary for an autopsy. Her family has been notified of the tragic event.
