BOHLOKONG – The Free State Search and Rescue K9 Unit, along with Bohlokong police, are intensifying their search for a young man from Bohlokong who was reportedly kidnapped on November 20, 2023, amid a mob justice incident.

According to South African Police Service, the man was accused of theft by a group of eight, including two women and six men. His mother last saw him on November 20 at around 14:00. Community tips have led to the belief that the young man was last seen in the Liebenbergsvlei River, leading to search and rescue efforts. The initial search proved unsuccessful, and the search continues. A kidnapping investigation is underway.
