Houet: The second class of TEX-FORCES People’s Servant Agents, consisting of 106 agents, officially graduated this Tuesday at the Armed Forces Training Group (GIFA), after 21 days of intense patriotic immersion. The ceremony was presided over by the commander of the 2nd Military Region, Lieutenant-Colonel Lassan© Porgo. Having entered training on March 12, 2026, the 106 public servants, including 45 women and 61 men, received instruction focused on civic, military, and patriotic training.
According to Burkina Information Agency, ASP TEX-FORCES delegate Carine Compaor© highlighted that the immersion allowed participants to enhance their physical and moral capacities while gaining knowledge in several fields. ‘We have been introduced to civic, military and patriotic training and have developed our physical and moral capabilities. In addition to these skills, we have acquired knowledge in the field of public service, first aid, and the history of Burkina Faso. All of this aims to strengthen our dedication and cultivate in us a spirit of patriotism and solidarity,’ she said.
For the head of the GIFA corps, Battalion Commander Honor© B¨ Palm, this patriotic immersion pursued five main objectives: the improvement of physical abilities, the strengthening of patriotic and civic values, the understanding of the national context, the preparation for social and professional integration, as well as the development of the spirit of cohesion and solidarity. He congratulated the officers for their commitment and discipline, which ensured the smooth running of the training.
Lieutenant-Colonel Lassan© Porgo urged the agents, who serve the people, to apply the lessons received and to prioritize service to the people and the nation. This second class consists of 82 garment operators, 12 finishing operators, 5 plotter operators, 4 DTF printer operators, 3 office workers, and one driver.
