Moscow: The Board of Directors of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has left the number of participants unchanged for the 2025-2026 season, Alexei Morozov, the league’s head, said on Monday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the composition of the participants was approved by the Board of Directors, maintaining the same 23 clubs. All clubs have submitted financial guarantees for their participation in the tournament for the next five years. Morozov emphasized that the clubs are committed to a long-term journey with the league, eliminating the need to discuss the composition of the participants annually at the board of directors’ meeting.
