Windhoek: The Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture has officially announced the release date for the 2025 Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) level national examination results. These results are set to be made public on Tuesday, 13 January 2026.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the Executive Director of the ministry, Mbumba Haitengela, confirmed that the marking and processing of examination data have been successfully completed for both education levels. The announcement of the results will be made by the Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Sanet Steenkamp, at 10h00 at the Government Office Park auditorium in Windhoek.
Candidates will have the opportunity to access their examination results via the Ministry's website and through SMS and WhatsApp services starting from 12h15 on the release day. Haitengela provided details on the procedure, stating that to receive results via SMS, candidates should send their full candidate numbers to 99099, or alternatively, they can use WhatsApp by messaging 0857856231. Accessing results online will require both candidate numbers and dates of birth.
Furthermore, regional education offices will facilitate access to results through printed broadsheets during official working hours. Candidates are required to collect individual statements of results from the schools or examination centers where they sat for their exams. Haitengela urged candidates to contact their regional examination offices to confirm the delivery of these statements to the respective schools.
In compliance with data protection regulations, Haitengela emphasized that no results containing candidates' names will be publicly displayed. Access to printed broadsheets will be managed in a controlled and supervised manner through regional directorates.
