NOUNA – Over the course of a two-day session, the special delegation of Nouna Municipality, led by Souleymane Tiono, approved an amending budget totaling 503,681,552 CFA francs for the year 2024. The unanimous decision came after detailed discussions on the municipality’s financial management and strategic planning.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the session, which took place from April 17-18, also included a review of the 2023 administrative and management accounts. The delegates assessed various civic challenges and approved measures to ensure financial balance. Among the key decisions was the establishment of a new municipal youth service, responding to directives from the national Ministry of Civil Service. Additionally, the delegation set fees for civil status document searches at five hundred CFA francs, reflecting a commitment to maintaining fiscal discipline despite significant operational hurdles.
