The traditional ceremony for the raising of the national colors took place in Noumbiel at the provincial directorate of the national police on June 3, 2024. This monthly ritual was conducted in the presence of various dignitaries, including the High Commissioner, the president of the special delegation from Batié, and several provincial directors and department heads. They collectively sang Dinatyè, the national anthem, emphasizing unity and dedication to national values.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner, the ceremony serves as a reminder of the province’s commitment to peace and excellence in service delivery. He also acknowledged the contributions of the security forces in maintaining order and stability in Burkina Faso. The next scheduled ceremony will occur at the Batié national gendarmerie on July 1.
