Noumbiel: The High Commissioner of Noumbiel Province, Drissa Hema, presided over the first rotating flag-raising ceremony of the year on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Batie High Commission. Following the ceremony, Drissa Hema reviewed the actions undertaken during the past year, noting that "the year 2025 was marked by challenges, but also by encouraging successes." He emphasized the collective efforts towards stability and security within the province.
For the new year, he urged the people to remain united, mobilized, and determined to meet the challenges ahead. Additionally, Mr. Hema presented certificates to nine business operators for their contributions to the projects undertaken during the past year. He encouraged them to continue their efforts and invited other stakeholders to follow their example for the smooth running of the province.
