Noumbiel / BEPC 2026: 44 Candidates Take the Exam in Kpu©r©

Noumbiel: The written tests for the junior high school diploma (BEPC) commenced on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Kpu©r©, in the province of Noumbiel. The event was marked by the presence of a delegation of municipal authorities who visited to encourage the candidates and officially start the examination process.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the delegation was led by the secretary general of the Kpu©r© town hall, Iy¨r¨ Jean Baptiste Hien. The group visited the Kpu©r© departmental high school, where the examination jury is based. Before the exams began, the head of the mission checked the envelopes containing the exam subjects in the presence of the candidates while also offering them advice and encouragement.

The jury president, Norbert Somda, reported that the commune of Kpu©r© had initially presented 50 candidates for the BEPC exam, 2026 session. However, there were six absences, all among the boys, which resulted in 44 candidates sitting for the exam-comprising 20 girls and 24 boys. The candidates were drawn from both the Kpu©r© high school and the Kpu©r© General Education College (CEG).
