The statutory members of the Northern Regional Dialogue Framework (CRD) held their 1st ordinary session of the year 2023. It was under the chairmanship of Raymond David Valentin Ouédraogo, Governor of the region North.
This very first session of the year of the regional body for the validation of performance reports on the implementation of the national development framework was held in a particular context of security crisis.
On Friday, March 17, 2023, members discussed the agenda on the program for this session, namely the draft 2022 annual performance report on the implementation of the Transition’s regional action plan (PART) and of the Action Plan for Stabilization and Development (PA-SD) and the outlook for 2023-2025.
From the various presentations of the Regional Director of the Economy and Planning of the North Sanousso Sawadogo who was accompanied by his collaborators, it emerged that the regional action plan for the transition validated during CRD 2022 was of the order of 12 billion 134 million CFA.
There is a financial implementation rate of 73.55% and a physical implementation rate of 68.48%.
In terms of prospects for 2023, the cost of the action plan is around 19 billion CFA.
The investments will concern the essential axes of pillar 3 of the transition action plan, in particular stabilization and development, governance issues, improvement of the living conditions of the populations, education, health and many others. essential sectors for the well-being of communities.
The discussions resulted in the unanimous adoption by the members of the CRD of the draft annual performance reports for 2022 of the regional action plan for the Transition (PART), the action plan for stabilization and development (PA -SD) and outlook for 2023-2025.
Raymond David Valentin Ouédraogo, Governor of the North region while thanking the technical and financial partners for their support, congratulated the members of the framework for their mobilization and the quality of their contributions to the debates.
The regional authority expressed optimism regarding the performance indicators and prospects for the development of the region.
