North West Legislature to conduct oversight visits in Ngaka Modiri Molema District

On the 01 – 04 February 2022, the North West Provincial Legislature will be conducting an oversight program in various municipalities under the Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality. The program is aimed at taking Legislature to the people to strengthen oversight and public participation and to promote accountability and transparency in government.

During the program, Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs) will interact with different provincial departments and their MECs; Mayors, members of the Municipal Public Accounts Committees.

Due to Covid19 regulations, MPLs will have limited interaction with members of the public on issues affecting them in those areas but they welcome to send petitions to the Legislature.
