NNN Expands Presidential Task Forces with New Appointments

Windhoek: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah made further appointments to the three Presidential National Task Forces on Tuesday at State House, building on the members announced recently.

According to Namibia Press Agency, these appointments aim to enhance the task forces’ capacity to implement focused interventions, improve coordination, and accelerate execution across key national priorities, in alignment with the country’s development agenda.

The Economic Recovery Task Force, which is designed to strengthen strategic and technical capacity for economic recovery, received additional support with the appointments of Trade Manager at Standard Bank Namibia, Emilia Uupindi-Mutenda and accounting expert Tudiminapo Shindume.

‘As the government seeks to enhance policy oversight and service delivery in the health sector, additional appointments were made to the Health Task Force, including health advocate Dr Mirjam Matheus and Norman Nanuseb, a nurse at Khorixas District Hospital, as new members.’

The Land and Housing Task Force, intended to improve delivery on land and housing development and enhance inter-institutional coordination, has been bolstered by the president’s appointment of Natasha Mbai and Pomwene Esther Shakela.

Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed confidence in the new members and wished them success in their new roles and their commitment to serving the nation through these task forces established following the Namibia Public-Private Forum (NamPPF).
