NJORO – In a heartfelt appeal to parents and guardians, Njoro Constituency Member of Parliament, Charity Kathambi, emphasized the importance of prioritizing the education of their children. Speaking at Njoro Boys High School during the commissioning of six new classrooms, Kathambi underscored the critical role of education in nurturing a generation capable of contributing positively to society.
According to Kenya News Agency, such investments are crucial for laying a solid foundation for societal prosperity across various sectors. “By investing in the education of our youth, we firmly believe that we are laying the foundation for a society that is not only knowledgeable, but also empowered to create a positive change,” Kathambi stated. She reassured parents and guardians of her commitment to elevating educational standards in the constituency through ongoing and completed projects, including the construction of classrooms financed by the NG-CDF kitty.
During the event, Kathambi also unveiled the Changerian flag, intended to symbolize a new era for the institution. The flag features an eagle emblem to represent resilience and motivation among students to excel academically. Furthermore, Kathambi highlighted the necessity for all children to attend school and encouraged families facing financial difficulties to take advantage of available bursary schemes.
Kathambi’s call to action aimed at providing equal opportunities for all Kenyan children, enabling them to realize their potential and dreams. “Our children require the necessary support to overcome future hurdles in life, thus we are obliged to give them the right avenue to explore and provide lasting solutions to societal problems,” she concluded.
