Windhoek: The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) has appointed Julia Muetudhana as its acting chief executive officer, effective from 01 July 2026. Muetudhana will succeed Jessica Hauuanga, whose term as acting CEO concludes on 30 June 2026.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Muetudhana has been serving as the Executive for Talent, Innovation and Productivity at NIPDB since July 2023. The board expressed its confidence in Muetudhana's ability to lead during this transitional phase, stating, "The Board has full confidence in Mrs Muetudhana's capabilities to lead the NIPDB during this transitional phase of its growth and wishes her well in this role."

The board also acknowledged Hauuanga's contributions, thanking her for her leadership and commitment. "The Board extends its deepest appreciation to Mrs Jessica Hauuanga for her dedicated service as Acting CEO, for her steady leadership in sustaining the institution's momentum, and for ensuring continuity in advancing Namibia's investment promotion and economic diversification agenda," it stated. Hauuanga is wished success in her future endeavors as her tenure with NIPDB concludes in August 2026.
