Niger’s Regional Governors Present Management Reports to President Tiani

Niamey – Regional governors of Niger reported on their management activities to President General Abdourahamane Tiani this Wednesday, detailing the progress made since their appointment 10 months ago. The briefing session took place in the capital and included all governors from the country’s eight regions.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the governors, led by Brigadier General Mohamed Toumba, Minister of State for the Interior, Public Security, and Territorial Administration, were appointed on August 1, 2023, shortly after the National Council for the Protection of the Homeland assumed power. During their presentation, they discussed the various initiatives and responsibilities undertaken in their respective regions, which include Agadez, Diffa, Dosso, Maradi, Tahoua, Tillabéri, Zinder, and the urban community of Niamey.
