NIAMEY – In a significant cabinet reshuffle, the President of Niger, Brigadier General Abdourahamane Tiani, has appointed Sahabi Oumarou as the new Minister of Oil on Saturday.

According to Burkina Informational Agency, Sahabi Oumarou will replace Barké Bako Mahaman Moustapha, who was a member of the first Transition government formed on August 9, 2023. This government initially included 21 ministers, tasked with guiding Niger through a transitional period.
