Nigerian APC Party Deputy Chair Arrives in Addis to Attend PP’s Congress

Addis Ababa: The Deputy Chairman of Nigeria’s APC Party, Alhaji Ali Bukar Dalori, has arrived in Addis Ababa to participate in the second congress of Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party (PP). Finance Minister Ahmed Shide, accompanied by other senior government officials, welcomed Dalori at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, leaders and members of the Cuban Communist Party and the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan have also arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the congress. Additionally, a member of the Amanat Political Party of Kazakhstan and the lower house of the Parliament of Kazakhstan is present in the city to join the event.



The officials received a warm welcome from Minister of Women and Social Affairs, Ergoge Tesfaye, and Minister of Peace, Mohamed Edris. The Second Congress of PP, which is the largest party in Africa, is scheduled to take place from January 31 to February 2, 2025, at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa.



Over 15 leaders of sister political parties from neighboring countries and 43 senior leaders from BRICS member states are also expected to participate in the congress.
