Nigeria – has announced a significant upward revision of its 2024 budget, increasing it by 1.5 trillion naira to a total of 27.5 trillion naira ($32.76 billion). This revision, disclosed by Budget Minister Atiku Bagudu, comes after adjustments were made in the benchmark oil price and the naira exchange rate assumption.

According to Africa News Agency, the revised budget marks a notable increase from the initial plan of 26.01 trillion naira, as stated by the minister last month, reflecting Nigeria’s ongoing efforts to align its fiscal strategy with the evolving economic landscape.
