Niaogho Communal Leader Urges Unity During Flag-Raising Ceremony


NIAOGHO, Boulgou Province – In a vibrant call for unity, Karim Sana, president of the Special Delegation of the commune of Niaogho, presided over the monthly flag-raising ceremony at the town hall on Monday. Addressing a gathered crowd of citizens, civil servants, and security forces, Sana emphasized the symbolic importance of the national flag and the collective responsibility to uphold the values it represents.



According to the Burkina Information Agency, the flag represents the sacrifices of the nation’s ancestors and their fight for independence. The ceremony, held on the first Monday of each month, is part of a government initiative to foster national unity and civic pride amid ongoing security concerns. Sana’s speech underscored the importance of community involvement in national efforts and praised the dedication of local security forces, including the National Police and Gendarmerie, as well as the Water and Forests agents and their auxiliaries.



The event also featured remarks from Adaman Kamboné, the mission officer of the presidency of Faso for the Center-East region, who lauded the community’s participation and echoed Sana’s call for unity among all members of the commune.
