New Zealand’s Deputy PM to Visit China at Invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister

Beijing: New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Winston Peters will visit China from Feb. 25 to 27, at the invitation of Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese foreign minister, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Thursday.



According to Namibia Press Agency, the visit is set to strengthen diplomatic ties between New Zealand and China. The invitation reflects the ongoing engagement and collaboration between the two nations on various international and bilateral issues. The meetings are expected to cover topics of mutual interest and enhance cooperation in different sectors.
