New Year’s Message 2025: Governor of Centre-South Advocates for Unity and Development

CENTRE-SOUTH REGION: The Governor of the Centre-South region, Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou, extended his New Year wishes by urging residents to continue fostering unity, solidarity, and social cohesion, aiming for sustainable development in the area.



According to Burkina Information Agency, in his message, the governor praised the resilience and commitment of the region’s population, including the Defense and Security Forces and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland, for their contributions to achieving a security lull in 2024. This stability facilitated the implementation of sectoral action plans and local development initiatives, significantly boosting performance indicators.



The governor highlighted the region’s national and international recognition, particularly for hosting several successful national-scale activities and the inclusion of the Royal Court of Ti©b©l© on the UNESCO World Heritage List. He expressed gratitude to the region’s vital forces for their achievements in implementing government commitments and public policies, with a special acknowledgment to the agricultural sector for its surplus cereal production, making the Centre-South region a crucial granary for Burkina Faso.



Looking ahead to 2025, the governor called for continued mobilization to address major regional challenges and emphasized the importance of reinforcing unity and solidarity to ensure harmonious and sustainable development.
