New Provincial Director of National Police Installed in Nahouri


Pô—The High Commissioner of Nahouri province, Auguste Kinda, officially installed Baré Kawendé Luc Kaboré as the new provincial director of the Nahouri National Police on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The installation ceremony took place in the presence of regional and provincial police directors, department heads, and other guests.



According to Burkina Information Agency, 2024, Chief Police Commissioner Baré Kawendé Luc Kaboré assumed his position as provincial director. The staff representative, Police Captain Atiana Apougabou, commended the outgoing director, Chief Police Commissioner Valentin Kaboré, for his effective management and family-like leadership. The staff pledged their support to the new director. Outgoing director Valentin Kaboré highlighted achievements, including 68 prosecutions, over 28 million CFA francs in fixed fines, and 16.3 million CFA francs collected for municipalities. He credited these results to collective effort and support from his hierarchy and social strata.



Baré Kawendé Luc Kaboré expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and acknowledged the challenges ahead. He emphasized collaboration with other defense and security forces to address security issues. The High Commissioner of Nahouri and the regional director of the Central-South police wished Valentin Kaboré success in his new role as regional director of the South-West police.
