Kenedougou: The Orodara High Court (TGI) hosted a formal ceremony on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, dedicated to the installation of new magistrates and the swearing-in of newly appointed court clerks and secretaries, marking a new step in strengthening the local judicial system. The event was significant for the judicial landscape of the region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony at the Orodara High Court also witnessed the installation of key judicial figures, including the investigating judge, Abdoulaye Wanre, the presiding judge, Oula Antoine Traore, and the deputy public prosecutor, Rabemkanewende Risse Zoundi. These appointments are expected to play a crucial role in the administration of justice in the region.
Furthermore, the swearing-in ceremony for court clerks and secretaries, namely Emmanuel Yaro, Alassane Zou (the second twin), Imwin Anonciata Pkoda, and Moussa Ouattara, took place during the event. Their involvement is anticipated to enhance the operational efficiency of the court system.
The hearing was presided over by Judge Kani Boni, who acted as the interim president of the Orodara High Court. After the clerk read the relevant regulations, the Prosecutor of Faso at the Orodara High Court, Ali Dianda, officially introduced the new judges and clerks to those present. He offered them advice, urging them to demonstrate rigor, integrity, and professionalism in the performance of their duties.
The High Commissioner of the Kenedougou province, Saidou Sakira, expressed the support and assistance of the administrative authority to the actors of justice. He reaffirmed the importance of a credible, independent, and accessible justice system, serving the people effectively.
