Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, met with a delegation from the new office of the Federation of Islamic Associations of Burkina (FAIB) presidium, led by its president, Imam Boubacar YUGO. The meeting took place on Friday with the aim to introduce the FAIB's 2025 office and discuss the association's projects and operational concerns.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Imam Boubacar YUGO stated that the visit was intended to inform the President about the association's plans and share some of their operational challenges. The FAIB delegation also received updates from Captain Ibrahim TRAORE on government projects and innovations in education and health sectors.
The FAIB office expressed its support for the initiatives spearheaded by Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, offering prayers and invocations to seek peace in Burkina Faso. Imam Boubacar YUGO called upon the citizens to engage in prayer as a means to combat terrorism in the country.
