New Ethiopian Export Trade Exhibition Center Launched to Boost Global Market Presence

ADDIS ABABA — The Ethiopian Export Trade Permanent Exhibition Center was officially opened today, coinciding with the commencement of a five-day trade week designed to enhance the visibility and reach of Ethiopian products and services on a global scale.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the event saw the participation of prominent government figures, including the head of the Democratic System Building Coordination Center and Deputy Prime Minister, Adem Farah, Speaker of the House of Federation, Agegnehu Teshager, and Finance Minister, Ahmed Shide. The ceremony, held at the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration, included a tour of the new facility and its showcased products.

The newly unveiled exhibition center, spanning 730 square meters, aims to promote a diverse array of Ethiopian export goods on the international market. The ongoing trade week is expected to serve as a vital platform for both domestic and international buyers, fostering business opportunities and enhancing trade relationships.

In addition to showcasing products, the trade week will feature panel discussions among stakeholders to discuss sectoral developments and strategies. An awards ceremony is also scheduled to recognize and honor outstanding contributions from the business community.
