National Collective for Refoundation Extends Its Reach to Boucle du Mouhoun Region

DÉDOUGOU – The National Collective for Refoundation (CNR) continued its expansion by establishing a regional coordination in the Boucle du Mouhoun region on Sunday. This move marks the third regional installment, following earlier ones in the Center and Center East regions, as part of a broader effort to support Burkina Faso’s transitional government.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Félicien Kissou, the initiative aims to promote pan-Africanist and nationalist ideals across Burkina Faso. The newly installed regional coordination in Boucle du Mouhoun will focus on mobilizing local populations to support the President of Faso, Ibrahim Traoré, and his transitional government’s efforts in combating terrorism, reclaiming territorial integrity, and asserting national sovereignty to foster the country’s development.

Félicien Kissou expressed the CNR’s ambition to establish regional coordinations in all areas of the country to bolster the ongoing transition. He called upon the newly formed coordination in Boucle du Mouhoun to actively engage in citizen monitoring and ensure the success of the transitional government’s initiatives.

Salimatou Compaoré, the regional coordinator for CNR in Boucle du Mouhoun, emphasized the critical role of local citizen monitoring structures in supporting the transitional government led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré. She highlighted the importance of collective efforts to restore national dignity and integrity through proactive governance and strategic partnerships.

The inauguration of the CNR’s regional coordination in Dédougou featured several key activities, including a reforestation campaign at the regional council and visits to local sites of interest. The day’s events demonstrated significant community engagement, with the population of Dédougou showing strong support for the transition authorities and their developmental agenda.
