Nasongdo Association Provides Educational Support to 100 Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Namentenga

Namentenga: The High Commissioner of Namentenga Province, Adama Conseiga, presided over a ceremony in Boulsa where school kits and financial aid were distributed to 100 orphans and vulnerable children. The initiative was a generous donation from the Nasongdo Association, valued at 2,900,043 CFA francs. Representatives from the province's governing bodies were also in attendance, with Mr. Conseiga expressing gratitude to the association for its contributions to the province's development, facilitated through the CESVIUM Foundation, a human development center located in Viareggio, Italy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the distribution benefitted a total of 50 primary school children, each receiving a school kit and 5,000 FCFA. Additionally, 50 students from secondary, vocational, and technical schools were provided with a school kit and 25,000 FCFA each.

Pascal Godo, the coordinator of the Nasongdo Association, emphasized the importance of this support, highlighting the collaboration with the Cesvium Foundation, which has a history of similar contributions.

Marie Madeleine Tiendrebeogo, representing the beneficiaries, expressed heartfelt thanks to the association and its partners, pledging that the recipients would strive to excel academically.

Adama Conseiga, while distributing the kits and financial support, reiterated his appreciation to the Nasongdo Association and CESVIUM for their significant role in aiding the State's educational goals in the province. He encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the donations effectively.
