Ouagadougou: A large delegation of sons and daughters from the commune of Nanoro, in the province of Boulkiemde, traveled to Koudougou to the site of 'Faso Mªbo Nando', to make their civic contribution to the ongoing construction work.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this act of patriotism, as expressed by community spokesperson Alfred Kondombo, aims to support President Ibrahim Traore's vision for an endogenous and inclusive development of Burkina Faso. The Nanoro delegation arrived with a cash contribution of 2,360,000 CFA francs and provided the construction site with essential equipment, including wheelbarrows, shovels, and picks, along with a load of sand.
Beyond the material donation, the people of Nanoro displayed their commitment by actively participating alongside other workers in the paving work. "We are here on behalf of the entire population of the commune of Nanoro to participate, with joy and courage, in the building of Faso Mªbo. It is so that this ideal enters the hearts of all Burkinab¨ so that together, we can build our country," said Alfred Kondombo.
He emphasized that this mobilization responds to a call for unity from the highest authorities. "We encourage the leaders of this country who had this valiant idea. Let us build together, hand in hand, and that is how we will win the battle. Where people want to defeat us, we will remain standing," he added.
Kondombo also appealed for the sacred union of his fellow citizens of Nanoro, recalling their locality's historical resilience. He invited the entire population to mobilize for this endeavor, which he described as "a matter of honor."
