Nando: The Nando Regional Directorate of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DREPPNF) launched its annual Pedagogical Conference for Administrative and Management Staff (CAPAG) on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, AIB observed. According to Burkina Information Agency, for four days, administrative staff are focusing on their crucial role in transforming the Burkinabe education system. Under the theme "Implementing Reforms in the Basic Education Sector: The Role of Administrative and Management Staff," this 2025 session is part of a national performance improvement initiative. The objective is to transform administrative and management staff into genuine drivers of change. The work is structured around three fundamental pillars: mastering reforms: understanding the new challenges to better implement them; ethics and professional conduct: reaffirming the values of integrity in public service; and performance evaluation: measuring the effectiveness of educational structures in the field. The opening cer emony, held in the Boulkiemde teachers' conference room, was marked by the presence of the governor's chief of staff, Issaka Kiema, representing the regional authority. "Be active partners in the reforms essential to building a prosperous, dignified, and sovereign Burkina Faso," he said. This message from the Minister of Basic Education, Mr. Jacques Sosthene Dingara, read for the occasion, underscores the importance of the commitment and professionalism expected of staff. The Regional Director of Primary, Secondary, and Vocational Training (DREPPNF) for Nando, Abylaice Rouamba, for his part, emphasized the practical aspect of this meeting. He urged participants to demonstrate exemplary attendance and a spirit of collaboration so that the outcomes of this conference would translate into more coherent and effective management within local districts. This CAPAG 2025, which will end on December 20, is proving to be the essential meeting to align administrative management with the major sovereign orientations o f the ministry.
