Katima mulilo: The Namport Zambezi Regional Second Division league has entered its second week of action-packed matches since its official kickoff last weekend. The league features highly anticipated fixtures as teams vie for top positions early in the season. According to Namibia Press Agency, Bush Bucks and Shooting Stars are currently leading the standings. Both teams secured victories in their opening matches last weekend, each collecting six points. Bush Bucks hold the top spot in the 12-club regional league due to a superior goal difference, having defeated Real Cheetahs 6-0 on Sunday at the University of Namibia (UNAM) Sports Field. As the competition continues, Bush Bucks will play at home against Bright Stars on Saturday at the UNAM Sports Field at 16h00. The day's other fixtures include Green Eagles taking on Space Age, and Roccano King Rangers facing Shooting Stars at 14h00, all at the same venue. Meanwhile, Real Cheetahs will meet Blue Chief at the Katima Mulilo Complex at 12h00. The Katima Mul ilo Sports Complex will also host Zambezi Sporting Academy versus Black Buffaloes at 14h00, with Namib Chiefs and Oryza Sativa closing Saturday's schedule at 16h00. On Sunday, Roccano King Rangers will start the day at the UNAM Sports Fields at 10h00 against Space Age, followed by a much-anticipated match between Bush Bucks and Namib Chief at 12h00. Green Eagles will conclude the day's matches at 14h00 against Shooting Stars. Concurrently, the Katima Sports Complex will feature Zambezi Sporting Academy versus Blue Chiefs at 10h00, Real Cheetahs against Black Buffaloes at 12h00, and Bright Stars versus Oryza Sativa at 14h00 to close the weekend's fixtures.
