Windhoek: Namibia Dairies' flagship brand, Nammilk, has been named the Most Admired Namibian Brand in the Non-Alcoholic Beverage category at the 16th Brand Africa 100: Africa's Best Brands Awards. The company's Rietfontein Guava Juice secured third place in the Non-Alcoholic Beverage category. Namibia Dairies Marketing Manager, Dalinka Alberto, stated that the award reflects the trust consumers have placed in the company's locally produced brands over the years. 'This recognition belongs foremost to Namibian consumers. When people choose Nammilk or any Namibia Dairies product, they are expressing trust in what is made here by people like them, for families like theirs,' she said. Nammilk Brand Manager Mandy Imaguezegie emphasized that the company has focused on strengthening the brand by building meaningful relationships with consumers and ensuring it remains relevant in their daily lives. She noted that the award affirms that brands built on authenticity and consistency can earn lasting consumer admiration. According to Namibia Dairies, the Brand Africa 100 rankings are based on consumer perceptions and measure the most admired brands across the continent. Alberto encouraged consumers to continue supporting locally produced brands, saying choosing African products helps retain economic value on the continent by supporting local farmers, manufacturers, distributors, and entrepreneurs. The recognition was announced during the awards ceremony held in Windhoek on 24 June 2026.
