Action Time also impressed, winning the 1300m race before going on to secure top honours in the 20 00m plate. BR's Pee Jay added to Namibia's medal tally with a second-place finish in the 1400m race, which was won by Botswana's Salamina. In the junior category, Vas To Crazy of Angermund Racing placed fourth in the 800m thoroughbred race, while Otjinene's Weerlig Mootu secured fourth position in a competitive 1100m plate. Speaking after the event, Godfried Mootu, president of the Namibia Horse Racing Association, expressed satisfaction with the team's performance on foreign soil.
