Namentenga: The Secretary General of the province of Namentenga, Bassouleymane Ouattara, representing the High Commissioner, chaired a training session in Boulsa on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, focusing on the administrative management of permanent departures from functions. This session was aimed at human resources officers from various decentralized structures, emphasizing the requirements and rights of officers concerning permanent departures. The central concern addressed was identifying the necessary documentation and timing for preparing for these departures. Madi Zango, the regional director of the civil service of the Center-North, provided comprehensive solutions during the session.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the training course centered around “retirement management” and aimed to educate participants on the legal frameworks governing permanent departures. It also provided insights into procedures and enhanced understanding of employee rights. Key topics discussed included early departur
e, resignation, requisitions, unproductive agents, coffin costs, and preventive detention issues. The contributions during the discussions served to clarify these areas for the participants.
Ferdinand Nacoulma, the school and university administration attaché at the provincial directorate of preschool, primary, and non-formal education of Namentenga, expressed satisfaction with the training’s execution. He emphasized the importance of making the cost of purchasing a coffin for a deceased agent accessible locally to expedite acquisition by the heirs, thereby avoiding slow procedures. The regional director of the civil service of the Centre-North praised the participants’ active involvement.
